Debt Free London is launching an ongoing bespoke hotline for the LGBTQIA+ community and to celebrate we are bringing three much loved members/supporters from the community together to raise awareness.

June marks Pride Month, a month of celebration and education for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies across the globe. However, whilst there’s much to celebrate, when the confetti settles and the glitter fades there’s a lot to reflect on as well. In a survey by Experian, 62% of LGBTQIA+ respondents said they had experienced financial problems because of their gender identity or sexual orientation.

Our recent survey revealed that over 60% of Londoners are more concerned about debt now than they were six months ago. The increase in concern has occurred as a result of the recent, well-documented increase in cost of living prices across the UK.

Debt Free London goes on tour with mobile bus ‘Debt BUS-ter’ to help Londoners with money worries and re-launches their 24-hour helpline to assist people with the cost-of-living crisis and post-christmas debt.
