As Talk Money Week 2025 concludes, we’re encouraged by how many people took the first step to start a conversation about money — and to seek support when they needed it.
This year’s theme — “Start the Conversation” — reminded us how powerful it can be to simply talk about money. Whether it’s with family, friends, or one of our advisors, opening up about finances can be the first step towards lasting financial wellbeing.
Community Events
Our partners delivered impactful support across London, running drop-in sessions in multiple boroughs to help hundreds of residents understand their rights, tackle debt, and make confident financial decisions.
They also hosted practical, jargon-free webinars designed for people on low incomes and the organisations that support them.
Participants gained valuable insights, including:
- What debt advice really means—and how it can help you take control of your finances.
- How to check eligibility for benefits, discounts, and support you might be missing out on.
- Smart strategies to cut bills and reduce everyday costs.
- Tips to boost income and make your budget go further.
Awareness Activity
And it’s not just online or in community spaces—our outreach goes wherever people are. Our team also set up at London King’s Cross Station, sparking conversations with commuters about money and raising awareness of free debt advice. It proved that even a quick chat can make a real difference
