Save Money on Meals for Your Kids this February Half-Term

The February half-term break can be a financial burden for families trying to keep their kids entertained. However, several restaurants, supermarkets, and retailers across the UK have introduced freebies and discounts to help ease the pressure.

Here is a list of 14 places offering deals this half-term, in alphabetical order:

  1. Asda: In partnership with Quaker Oats, Asda is offering a free bowl of porridge to kids between 8AM and 12PM every day. This is in addition to their Kids Eat for £1 menu, which includes a choice of one of six hot meals, in selected cafes, or a cold pick-and-mix meal deal, which includes a sandwich, a drink, a piece of fruit, a fromage frais yoghurt and a treat item.

  2. Bella Italia: Kids can eat for just £1 between 4PM-6PM when an adult purchases a main meal. The offer includes three courses with choices for starter, main, and dessert.

  3. Beefeater, Brewer’s Fayre and Table Table: Two children under 16 can eat for free with every adult breakfast purchase. The unlimited breakfast includes eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns, and black pudding.

  4. Bill’s: Up to two kids can eat for free all day with one adult main dish purchase from February 13th to 24th.

  5. Dunelm: Kids eat for free at Dunelm's Pausa Cafe when an adult spends £4 or more. The free meal includes a mini main, two snacks, and a drink for children under 10 after 3pm from Monday to Friday.

  6. Ikea: Kids can enjoy a tomato pasta and soft drink for 95p or any other kids meal for £1.50, all served from 11am. A breakfast roll and hot drink is available for 95p from 9.30am to 11am.

  7. M&S: From February 13th, M&S Cafes will provide a free Kid’s Munch Meal with every £5 or more spent on non-kids food or drink. The meal includes a main, snack, and drink.

  8. Morrisons: Kids can eat for free in Morrisons cafes nationwide with every adult's meal over £4.99. The offer applies to children under 16 and includes a piece of fruit, a drink, and a meal from the kids menu or chilled kids snack pack.

  9. Tesco: Clubcard holders can enjoy the Kids Eat Free deal this half-term, with a free hot meal, breakfast, or pick ‘n’ mix deal with each cafe item bought by an adult.

  10. Yo Sushi: Kids under 10 can eat for free with a maximum of three kids per booking when an adult spends £10 or more between February 13th and 24th.
