We’re proud to share that Debt Free Advice has been named Charity Partnership of the Year at the 2025 Third Sector Awards, held on Friday 12 September 2025 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

The award celebrates the strength and impact of our coalition of charities working together to tackle financial hardship across London. Since 2006, Debt Free Advice has provided free, impartial support to more than half a million people - ensuring that no one faces a financial crisis alone. In the past year alone, we’ve helped over 18,000 Londoners become £23 million better off.

This recognition comes during a period of significant growth for our partnership. Building on the progress outlined in our “Supporting, Strengthening and Simplifying” impact report, we’ve expanded our coalition to include new charitable advice providers and increased appointment availability by 25%. That means thousands more Londoners can now access free, expert debt advice at a time when financial insecurity remains high.

Our collaborative model brings together trusted advice partners, funders, and innovative technology to make support more accessible than ever. Through initiatives like our award-winning video advice kiosks - we’re reaching people who have traditionally been excluded from mainstream advice.

Matt Dronfield, Managing Director of Debt Free Advice, said:

“This award is a testament to what can be achieved when charities work together with a shared purpose and a commitment to help people in financial difficulty. Our coalition is built on collaboration, compassion, and innovation — and I couldn’t be prouder of the teams delivering life-changing support every day. This recognition belongs to every advisor, partner, and funder who makes our work possible.”

The win follows last year’s success, when our Video Advice Kiosk project won Best Service Delivery Innovation, reaffirming Debt Free Advice’s role as a leader in accessible, technology-driven financial support.
